RTG events

There is also an annual retreat for the RTG members of the SFB1403. It were always organized by the PhD and Postdoc committee. The students and postdocs presented their reasearch projects and discuss with their fellow members about technical problems, plans for the future and many more things. Our committee organizes several events each year for RTG members to meet, exchange ideas and have fun.

We also offer some workshops for the students who are helpful for their research career.

On May, 27th 2025 the first Career Talk was organized by the SFB1403.

We heard a very interesting presentation from our researcher Hiro Oda. He shared his career journey as PI and how his career begun and why he chose Cologne.

After the talk everyone had a nice time while BBQ and it was a great chance for connecting.

This was also a nice happening to say goodbye to Emmi Wachsmuth, who leaves the SFB after almost 5 exciting years.
