Day-Care from the University of Cologne
The “Kinderhaus” Paramecium is a day-care facility of the UoC located within a five-minute walking distance from the CECAD Research Center, which offers places for 80 children from the age of four months. It's opening hours and services are specifically tailored to the needs of academia (daily opening hours from 8:00-18:00, open during the summer holidays, backup service offered during Easter and Christmas holidays).

The university has also implemented a ticket system to provide backup day-care service as well as an individualised babysitter service.
